GeoHot tweeted that Jailbreak for OS 3.1.3 is Easy

February 05th, 2010 | Category: CydiaAPPS,iPhoneNEWS

Geohot has tweeted saying that the jailbreak is easy but only helps those dumb enough to upgrade.

I hear rumors going around that the 3.1.3 jailbreak is hard. It isn’t. But the only people it helps are those dumb enough to upgrade. Sorry.

These comments indicate that it’s unlikely the BlackRa1n jailbreak will be upgraded to support the new firmware.

iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 3G users – please be very careful you do not upgrade. Most other users can still jailbreak using RedSnow. See iClarified for more information.

February 05th, 2010 | Category: iPhone & Co.

According to ComputerWorld, Sony CF Nobuyuki Oneda made the following statements at a Tokyo news conference held to announce the company’s quarterly financials.

“That is a market we are also very interested in. We are confident we have the skills to create a product,” Oneda said.

“Time-wise we are a little behind the iPad but it’s a space we would like to be an active player in,” said Oneda.

In October, Sony plans to launch a number of new mobile products built around network-based services. These devices will connect into Sony’s new Internet store that will offer music, movies, games, and ebooks to many Sony products including TVs, PCs, Media Players, and E-Book Readers.
