Google preps the Android Market[place]
Google Android Market vs Apple App Store = Stalemate!
Check out the images, that’s the beauty of Google’s Android Market which is intended to be the 2nd standalone direct application downloading system to ever grace the screen of major PDA/smartphone like devices in the world, after Apple’s App Store of course.
The difference is, unlike the iPhone SDK, Google’s Android is a completely free reign for all interested developers out there and there would not be any restrictions in regard to the type or content of the apps in question.
Keep a lookout for the Android to make its debut on the HTC Dream. Finally, we have a worthy contender for the iPhone 3G.
