Source confirms 3rd Gen iPhone Apple Logo will light up

Firstly, let’s get this out of the way. There was a photo leak of a supposedly black bezel from ChinaOnTrade.com, a company manufacturing & supplying accessories & parts and earlier, they have decided to ‘unveil’ images and ordering options for 3rd generation iPhone bevels and screens.

So, the ‘updated’ rumor right now would be to the effect that the next-gen iPhone to be released next month would sport a black chrome bezel instead of the original silver chrome in both the 2G & 3G models. Take a closer look at the bezel and you will also notice that the ear speaker has been propped further up the screen, most notably to either accommodate a larger multi-touch screen (unlikely) or maybe to provide the space for a front-facing camera for iChat (most probable).
As you can also see in the images supplied, the OLED screen rumor would have to be laid to rest for now in lieu of the ubiquitous LCD display.
However, please take into account that China, of all places in the world, has a propensity for ‘me too products’, also known loosely as ‘imitations & counterfeits’. The above supposedly parts for a 3rd Gen iPhone could most likely be a similar looking part for one of its iPhone knockoffs.

Now, let’s get on to the lighted Apple logo rumor…
CrunchGear has this to say – “A tipster has seen the new matte iPhone and the bugger has a light-up Apple. That’s right: it lights the freak up.”
There you have it, cerca trova.Â
