Hi, can i know from which countries are your iPhone models from? Also, is this the officially unlocked version? And is there any promo for the iPhone3G 8GB version? And what about the warranties? Where can I go to if I face any probs with my iPhone? Thanks.
Hi Rayvia
(1) As this is a public comment, we do not want to reveal too much. Safe to say, our factory unlocked sets can come from either Italy, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc.
(2) “Factory unlocked sets” refer to authorized Apple unlocked sets, or just like the way you termed it; “officially unlocked version”.
(3) Promo is strictly for the 16GB right now. We have stopped carrying the 8GB due to low demand for it.
(4) We will provide all our buyers with a one year unlimited troubleshooting support via email, sms or call. Warranty for repair/service of the unit itself is not possible in Malaysia as it is not officially launched (and hence no avenue for Apple technicians to service them). Generally, we have ZERO ISSUE with factory unlocked sets sold to all our buyers in Malaysia right now. In other words, they are extremely satisfied. The same cannot be said for “US Spec Sets” that requires either a TurboSIM or soft unlock because it is a matter of time before you ended up damaging the unit (and that’s when you need to send it for repair!)
(5) Even if repair or servicing is needed, we will still forward you to relevant 3rd party agents in Malaysia. So again, no worries there!
Hope that answers all your queries, thank you and have a nice day.
Regards
Reno
hey i was just wondering if i can still get the 8gb version from you guys..If not when are you guys planning to stock up again?
Hi Kumar
Sorry bro, we have stopped stocking up on 8GB due to a lack of demand for it. Most buyers went straight for the 16GB.
Generally, we have to commit to a bulk quantity for either 8GB or 16GB, and from the business sense, we are sticking to 16GB for the time being.
Cheers!

Where can i refer for the phone specs? Can payment be made via credit card?
Hi Alvin
The specs link is actually listed on the main blog page on the right.
You can see it here.
Sorry, we don’t accept credit cards for local orders.
Cheers!

Em, i dun trust ordering online no matter how secure it is…
How can i buy the iphone directly from u guys? izzit somewhere in KL?
@ Fareast:
I can understand your concern in regard to placing an online order. Truth be told, eCommerce is by far more advance overseas than right here in Malaysia.
One of the main reason is the fear that consumers would have in regard to buying something online for fear of being “conned”, “scammed” and disadvantaged.
If you are looking at the ‘tried & tested method of COD’, you are welcome to self-collect directly from our office in Skudai, Johor
(full address listed in http://www.iWorld.com.my).
We are unable to COD in KL or any other parts of Malaysia due to our conflicting work schedule as well as the numerous orders that we have for the iPhone 3G on a daily basis.
Thank you once again for persuing our blog.
Have a nice day.

reno, strange…due to ur post September 26th, 2008 8:57 pm, u repied tat the phone has full warranty covered by apple, but today i just call to ur office, they said no such thing…did i make mistake or wat? this is one of the most important issue affecting decision.
Hi AegilDnvel,
The post on September 26th, 2008 8:57 pm was correct at that time.
(1) Theoretically, there should be warranty.
However, from what we understand right now (Oct 2008 onwards, till now), all telcos would not honour the warranty unless the buyer can show proof that he/she has already signed up for a 2 or 3 Year Contract.
(2) Local warranty would also not be possible for the simple fact that iPhone 3G is not officially launched here. There is simply no avenue for users to bring it to authorised Apple personnel.
(3) Actually, we here at iWorld do provide our own Legendary Support, you may want to refer.
Thank you, it was a pleasure having you here!

Hi Reno,
My query follows your reply dated January 13th 2009.
1. I understand there can’t be a local warranty. But, can there be an international Apple warranty (from the country you have purchased)?….I understand the price can go up a bit…
Paddy
Hi Paddy
You are right – there ‘can’ be warranty from the country the factory unlocked iPhone 3G originates from.
However, the respective provider would not honour it without proof of ‘ownership’ (ie. 2-3 year contract). We have tried this option before, and failed.
Thank you.
Hi, Where can i buy from Johor bahru ?
HI Reno

hey reno, just need a confirmation before i mail you guys over at sales dept;
the units which you guys are selling would be factory unlocked, right? as in i could update my firmware via itunes just as i do on my ipod touch and/or purchase/download apps from itunes without having to go through some 3rd party application/means, right?
Hello Zura,
Yup, we only carry factory unlocked iPhone 3G. Meaning you could update your firmware via iTunes the same way you previously did on your iPod Touch, WITH NO FEAR of the unit locking back again. Because it never will (for a factory unlocked set).
That’s right, you can purchase and download unlimited apps DIRECTLY from the App Store icon on the iPhone 3G.
No 3rd party application needed, ever.
PS : Ready to order? Email us at sales@iworld.com.my and request for an ORDER DETAILS email. Or, conclude your order directly at http://www.renoraine.com.my, our one-stop eCommerce portal.

Hi Reno,
It’s absolutely amazing the experience I have had with iWorld whilst ordering my iPhone. Service in Malaysia is generally non-existent, so it is very refreshing to finally come across a company who actually cares and delivers on their word.
And what does it boil down to? Simple, effective, up to date communication!
Thanks for providing such a service and I will be sure to spread the word.
By the way, the iPhone is awesome, comfortably kills the Blackberry
experience in every way!
Kind regards

wanna know the price 4 i phone 3g 8gig ?

We do not have anymore 8GB. only fctory unlocked 16GB left in stock @ RM2799/set.
Thank you.
Reno/iWorld
Reno,
How about the warranty? If any issues, do we have to send it to iWorld or any Apple shop?
Cheers!
I really want to get rid of my current HTC touch pro to replace with the IPhone 3G. Can I trade-in to get the Iphone 3G?
The offer of RM 2799 for 16 GB will be end after March 2009?
@ Ahman : You can peruse our Legendary Support, all your queries on iPhone 3G warranty would be attended to in that page.
For units that require servicing/repair, we will direct you to a third party agent that would do so for a nominal fee.
@ George : Sorry, we do not accept trade-ins of any kind. Yup, the offer of RM2,799 would be for the entire month of March 2009. Or until we ran out of stock. Whichever comes first.
Thank you folks for being here with us at the official blog for iWorld, MY. Cheers!

From PJ
Hi Frankie,
I have already emailed you.
Thank you.
Reno
Halow i want to know if the stock will still be availabe by first week of April
Thanx
Sir, will it be any issue on the WIFI compatibility with your fully unlock iphone 3G? Please advice.
@Ruxy : Although we have a few sets left, generally we try our best to maintain enough stock count to go around. I cannot confirm anything for April as of now. TQ
@George : No issues at all. Unless you have specifically read it somewhere (online, forums, etc), you can give us further info and we will check it out for you. Right now, WiFi on the iPhone 3G is universal: it works anywhere and at anytime you want it to. TQ

hurray…promo price continue…
I would like to know more detail about warranty, sir. Where should i send the iPhone 3G for repair if something goes wrong with it? I’m from Kuching, Sarawak. Please advice.
Hi George,
You can access our Legendary Support to know more about warranty.
Generally, with proper usage, if any issues occur with the iPhone or iPhone 3G, it is usually software based. A restore of the firmware (only for Factory Unlocked iPhone 3G from iWorld, for example) via iTunes would usually rectify it immediately.
As good as new!
Hope that answers your query.

[Editor's Note] The above in response to order for factory unlocked iPhone 3G (16GB) BLACK on Thu (26th Mar) night. Order despatches on Fri (27th Mar) to recipient in Sarawak.
Hi, I read in your troubleshooting that it’s not advisable to update the software of the iphone? If this is a 100% factory unlock phone, why are we not able to update the software? Will we be able to update to O/S version 3.0 once it’s launched?
Hi Alicia,
We forgot to remove remnants of those troubleshooting tips that are outdated. Thanks for bringing this up.
Rest assured, as all our users right now could attest to, factory unlocked sets from http://www.iWorld.com.my remain unlocked. This is a legal Apple sanctioned unlock and it will never, ever lock back.
Not even if you were to update the firmware to the latest iPhone OS 3.0 when it is released as a free update in July 2009 this year.
Units that are not factory unlocked would eventually lock back. Whether its with iPhone OS 2.2.1 (current) or the upcoming iPhone OS 3.0.
Thank you & have a nice day.
Best Regards
Reno / iWorld
hi reno,
heard that iphone has these 2 limitations (1)can’t make video calls (2) can’t forward text message. need confirmation before making commitment.
Hi pdfadz,
Thanks for dropping by!
I wouldn’t term that a limitation. Even though it cannot support video calls (there is no front facing cam in the first place), the advantages of the iPhone far outweigh the disadvantages of owning one. If you need to video call, you can easily get a Nokia or Samsung for such a purpose.
Text forwarding would be supported once the iPhone OS is updated to 3.0 in July this year. Right now, text forwarding etc can still be done via 3rd party apps.
Hope that answers your query.
Have a nice day.

We only carry 16GB factory unlocked iPhone 3G for now. Refer to iWorld April Promo for more info.

Reno / iWorld
Reno, if i’m not mistaken, just only yesterday I saw your advertisement for april is RM2,799. So which is which now? Please advise, TQ
Hi Lily,
Thanks for voicing your concern. It was RM2799 yesterday. But prices would fluctuate in the event demand (on a worldwide basis, not just over here at iWorld) is high and there is a shortage of stock worldwide (only for 100% factory unlocked units).
As we are unable to absorb the higher cost given to us by the vendor this time round, we will have to revise our published rates as well. Generally, iPhone 3G prices would go down, but at times, it WILL ALSO go up.
You may have missed out on this announcement, which was posted yesterday evening, check it out here.
Thanks,
Reno/iWorld

Hi Reno,
Just wana reconfirm with you that your company selling this phone isn’t can download Itune songs and video? As i understand the official Maxis Iphone is unable to do so at this moment…
Hi Natasha,
You can open a US iTunes Store Account using those factory unlocked iPhone 3G (16GB) sets that you get from us here at iWorld, Malaysia.
Follow the steps here.
Nope, iPhone 3G from Maxis is not possible, and also the fact that 3G data would be crippled when used with a non-Maxis simcard.
Thank you,
Reno / iWorld
Hi Reno,
Thanks for the infos… I’m interested to purchase but before that how is your mode of payment? Credit Card or Cash only?
Thank you.
Hi Natasha,
We don’t have the facility to process credit cards. Other than that, cash, cheque, bank-ins, ATM Transfer, Giro, Maybank2u would be perfect. Thanks!

How about the delivery price it’s include with that price (RM 2.899)? I’m from Indonesia and interesting with the package you offer Reno.
aNgEl: Hi! We don’t carry 8GB anymore. Reason being the demand for 16GB is higher, and small difference in price (~RM200) between the 2 models. TQ
Andre: Thanks for dropping by Andre! Free delivery applies to orders within Malaysia. For delivery to Indonesia, you can consider GDAlliance, delivery within 3-4 days max. TQ

Will I get into trouble if I jailbreak an iPhone from Maxis?
Can I tether your iPhone to my laptop?
Thanks.
Hi…Im interested in the promotion which stated above..
Few questions here..
1)Is there any warranty for the Iphone?
2)Where should we claim our warranty if there is some problems on the Iphone?
Thanks a lot..
@ Cesc: Thanks for your order. It has been despatched out before this.
As I have said before, the actual 1 Year warranty is only valid for contract subscriber of the originating country that we import the factory unlocked iPhone 3G from. As such, it would not be possible to claim for it locally.
However, we do provide our limited warranty terms as per stated here.
@ Crystal: If you are bound by contract to Maxis, then obviously they would strictly restrict you from jailbreaking the unit, which is also considered a breach of the contractual terms.
FACTORY UNLOCKED iPhone 3Gs from iWorld can be tethered to an external notebook using 3rd party apps.
Thank you.
Reno / iWorld
Hi, with rumours around on the next 3.0 firmware that at least 3 new iPhone will be released by Apple powered by quad-core processor, will the 3G iPhone drop it’s price?
Hi Max,
Thanks for writing in. And welcome to iWorld, Malaysia!
Of the 3 iPhones rumored to be released this year, only 1 of them are worthy of mentioning right now: the updated iPhone 3G. The other 2 are of a Lite version as well as a CDMA version.
So, going by the economics of demand & supply for the new iPhone 3G, and not to mention initial early adopter pricing, it is highly probable that it would be pretty ex.
Now, that may not necessarily lower the price of existing iPhone 3Gs, as they are priced differently, so to speak. Furthermore, the present iPhone 3G would eventually be discontinued, and only time will tell…
Regards
Reno / iWorld
“iPhone is here all looks ok. Thanks for your excellent service and follow up. First class. Cheers, Scott”
[Updated] Another selected comment from one of our recent buyer. iPhone 3G bought last Friday, ships out the same day. Due to Wesak Day on Saturday, the parcel finally reaches the recipient the following Monday.
Since Maxis prepaid can sign up for iphone and contract require. Some more ot come with 500MB free data usage per month for one year. What is the diffence between yours and Maxis?Becasue the price is almost the same? Thanks.
sorry..typo error. It should be no contract require. Thanks.
<012 2256010>
HI Brian,
Thanks for dropping by at iWorld.
From what I understand, Maxis has a new Prepaid Plan for Hotlink users. For a 16GB, it would set you back by RM2960. However, remember to read up on the LOCKED 3G Data issue for units from Maxis.
As I’m a postpaid user, I’m not sure if there would be additional hidden costs that would be incurred for prepaid lines.
(1) I believed the above NEW Hotlink Package must have came about due to the recent rumor circulating online that Maxis’ iPhone 3G deal with Apple would cease in June or July 2009 this year.
(2) And what would happen to existing postpaid users who are still on contract with Maxis? I don’t know. Probably still servicing their contract for the rest of the year.
(3) And with the eventual launch of the iPhone 3G 2009 (3rd Gen Edition), it is prudent for Maxis to introduce a ’supposedly’ new prepaid package now just to help them ‘clear up the old stock.’
(4) Without saying too much at this juncture, suffice to say that iWorld would be carrying the ALL NEW iPHONE 3G model the soonest it is out. RSVP: July 17th, 2009.
Cheers,
Reno / iWorld

Any details on iPhone 3GS, sir?
Hi Reno ,
I need a few more questions to ask before I take any further actions to order your iphone 3GS .
Firstly , How much exactly is the iphone 3GS for both 16gb and 32gb in RM that you are selling? Is the 16GB one available in white colour? Are you sending the ordered iphones after june 19?
Thx
@ Nicky: I think you made a mistake. The factory unlocked iPhone 3G (16GB) was at RM2899. We have sold off the last unit on Monday. The iPhone 3GS would be priced higher. TQ
@ Edmund: Yup, it works that way. I’m using a factory unlocked iPhone 3G (16GB) and I have the RM99 unlimited data plan as well from Maxis. Owning an iPhone should be THIS way, WITHOUT contract of any kind.
@ George: We will post updated pricing & availability on iWorld or iWorld Blog within 2 weeks. Or by the end of June. If you don’t see it thus far on our sites, then you would have to check back often as we are in the midst of discussion and we don’t have concrete details, yet.
@ Nic: We wont’t carry the 16GB (Black only), and we will carry the 32GB (Black or White). For the rest of your question, refer to the reply to ‘George’ above.
[Pre-Order] Please Note: Pre-orders are for purpose of gauging how many units to bring in and from past tradition, the first few batches would always be limited. We just want to draw up a name list of those interested and so that we can contact you later on. As part of our iWorld company policy, we do not ask for any deposit for pre-orders, so there’s really nothing to lose on your side.
[Availability] Please Note: We won’t have it immediately after June 19th. This is only for overseas carriers. Last year, for the iPhone 3G, we were the first to get stock in Malaysia one month after AT&T got theirs on July 11th. Go do the maths…

Hi Irwan,

Our office is based in Johor, we don’t entertain walk-ins. Sorry about this. Self collect of merchandise is by appointment basis only. TQ
Hi folks,
Just a word of advice, and caution.
This blog is intended for user to comment and feedback to us here at iWorld. It is not for any of the following:
(a) Trying to post your stuff for sale etc. There are other sites for such a purpose.
(b) Trying to post some ridiculously priced items which is obviously a scam.
(c) Trying to challenge us here at iWorld in terms of our iPhone knowledge/know-hows. Trust us, we have been in this eCommerce line for more than 5 years, with a dedicated 3 years to the iPhone alone. We know what we are talking about. Remember, if you have been searching for iPhone and you landed on our site/blog FIRST, then obviously we got it right.
[Warning] To prevent abuse, all comments would be heavily moderated from now on. We may choose to reply back to you personally via email if your comment doesn’t get to see the light of day. TQ

Dear iWorld team,
Just a quick question..I’m definitely interested in the new iPhone 3Gs, but may not be able to buy it in the next few months or so. Will I still be able to order from you even after your June promotion ends? Thanks!
@Lothar: No concrete news yet, stay tuned. I bet you guys are going nuts by now…
@Mun: Our monthly promo is as such…on a monthly basis. I suggest that you check back again when you’re ready to get one, and check the latest price for THAT particular month.
Cheers,
Reno

Pre-ordered a unit..would those who pre-ordered theirs guaranteed to get their units?
Thanks, Reno!
I was afraid that I had to make it for the June promo to get the phone. Glad to know that I’ll still be able to place an order with you guys at any time. You’ll definitely be hearing from me then!
Please don’t mention it Mun.
Generally, we restock on a weekly basis,
barring unavailability of stock from our
vendors.
So please do contact us again when you’re
ready to get one. It might be cheaper by then
too. TQ
Abang Alfian: It is more of a Pre-Order
Notification List. As we don’t accept any
deposits or payments right now, not
everyone would be guaranteed a set.
Another reason is also because not everyone
would confirm their order once we have stock.
Either they already got theirs, changed their
mind, budget constraint or price of 3GS too high.
We are speaking from last 2 years experience
(for Apple iPhone & iPhone 3G). TQ
Hi, I would like to know if i order the iPhone 3G S price and how long i need to wait? How i can pay money? When doing the promotion in Kuala Lumpur?
Lyn,
Basically, if we have ready stock, all you have to wait is “less than 24 hours” for the order to reach you. We send them via ABX Express courier.
On the other hand, if stock is limited, like right now, then all you need to do is to confirm your order with us via email (sales@iworld.com.my) with Name, Mobile, Email & Color. Expect waiting time of a few working days. Your name will be entered into the Pre-Order Confirmation List. No deposit needed. TQ
Hi… WOuld like to ask how come the price of the Iphone 3gS is much more expensive than the previous model? Apple have claimed that they drop the price for the latest model. If you claim that maxis was ripping the customer, I think you guys did the same.. I am not affiliated with maxis or any of the telcos out there, just felt that this time, u really trying to rip us off… At first I really wanted to buy from you I heard that will be bringing in the 3gs, but now, I think I better wait for the price to be more reasonable.
burb,
waa.. u sure or not? i read they slashed the price of the “3G” model not the “3GS”. Sure got ur facts right or not?
Don’t simply flame others before u r certain, make u sound like a fool.
Hey there Reno. I’m shocked to know that the price range for 3GS is above RM 3.5k. Hopefully when the next batch comes the price range would be between RM2-3k.
@Burb: I’m approving this comment of yours because I want to share it with the rest.
You may not be aware, but it was the same scenario last year (2008) and the year before (2007) as well. I’m sure if you Google a bit, you will understand the reasoning behind the $199/$299 pricing for US sets etc.
We are not ripping you off. Remember that. You have a choice to begin with. “Ripping off” is more like giving you an iPhone for RM1.9k to RM2.5k and then trying to make MORE from you over the course of a 1-2 year contract.
If you are aware of the economics of demand & supply, you will no doubt appreciate the fact that cost of the iPhone 3GS to us here at iWorld is equally high as well right now.
@D.Sync : Yeah, I thought it was quite expensive myself. But there are those who really wanted it, and they have since confirmed their order. First batch all snapped up as of last night.
Reno: Your reply @ June 25th, 2009 1:40 pm is referred.
It’s a relief that you have answered the way you answered @Burb. I concede that the pricing for the 3G-S is over the top right now but as you’ve aptly put it: it’s just good business sense. I’d do the same if I were in your position, too.
Anyway, why a ‘relief’? Well, at least you guys are upfront and honest about how your operations model is like and for that, I for one, will probably purchase the 3G-S from iWorld once it becomes economically more viable!
With that said, any estimates on when we’d be able to see a downward correction on the 3G-S pricing?
Please send me prices.
Hey Khairul, thanks man for speaking up on our behalf! Yes, I left out that bit in my reply to Burb: Apple slashed the price of the iPhone 3G (8GB) to $99 with contractual obligation. iPhone 3G (16GB) discontinued.
Pricing of iPhone 3GS remained unchanged. Thanks!
—————————–
Hi Sean (gewdgreef), nice to see you around. I’m impressed with the eloquency of your comment.
I guess I’m just used to such remarks from the likes of Burb etc ever since the first Apple iPhone in 2007. Sometimes, we don’t see the forest for the trees.
Pricing is subjective, and is perceived differently by different people out there. What is expensive to us may be justifiable for someone else instead.
Seriously, although we have been dealing with 3 generations of iPhones by now (2G, 3G, 3GS) over the course of the past 3 years, I have to admit I was rather taken aback with the price quoted to us by our vendors early this month.
And personally, I can’t afford one myself at this pricepoint, although I really, really wanted one!
I really can’t comment on the estimates right now, it is pretty volatile. But the soonest we are aware of an impending price drop, rest assured all those who have already submitted to us your particulars would be kept in the loop.
With that, have a nice day!
—————————–
@ Crash : Send the price to you? It is already published at the top of this post! Or check our official iWorld website.
Reno: High praise for just 3 paragraphs! I’m really an Ah Beng at heart… ;-D
Anyway, without adding more spam to your blog, it appears that the thriftier ones among us shall have to wait then… Christmas present, perhaps? *wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge*
Hi, could you please send me your best price if we take 20 sets of 3GS iPhone? Thanks.
Sean,
I think Christmas is too long a wait. That’s another half a year. Are you sure?!
- Reno
Hi Ranny,
We will discuss with you further via emails. Thank you for dropping by.
Have a nice day.

Wow, RM3899 for 16GB and RM4299 for 32GB??!
I thought its only about USD299 for 32GB in the US?
Btw RM4299 you can get a macbook =O
no offence, but just curious why is it such a big increase.
What additional costs are involved here?
Hi Leow,
You’re right, it cost USD299 only for the 32GB in the US. If only you could get one!
For the rest of your other questions, remember that Google is your friend.
Cheers
Reno / iWorld
People ! Pls do your homework ! Its pretty simple, Google is at yr disposal. Iphone in USA are priced US$299 for the 32GB but it comes with a 2-year contract with AT&T. If you do not want to be locked up for 2-year, then the full price is US$599 for the 16GB and US$699 for the 32GB. So pls stop making a fool of yourselves by quoting the US$99 or the US$299 options ! Even if you buy the unit without lock-up, the phones locked, meaning you have to “jailbreak” (i.e. illegal software to unlock the phone for usage in other countries and/or operators! If you wanna get legal unlocked iphones, try Italy or Brussels priced at Euro575 and Euro675 for the two respective models. Alternatively, wait for launch in HK expected this month. How much are these legal unlocked Euro-based iphones in RM ? I have done the hard bit, do the maths yourself. Off course, you need to have friends in those countries to ship the phones to you. Fyi, Spore’s Singtel has alrdy hinted that the 3GS will be launched shortly. The big question is, off course, whether Singtel’s iphones are officially unlocked and be used in Msia. That is for me to know and for you to find out ! Cheers.
Chuckie’s here. Hi Chuckie!
Thanks for helping out with crowd control here. I hate repeating the same reasoning almost every other day.
By the way, Singtel sets were unlocked by default last year (iPhone 3G). However, they only sell it with a plan (just like Maxis).
Thank you.

You must be smoking something really good to sell the 3GS for RM4299. For that kinda money, I can buy return plane ticket to HKG right now, buy the phone in HKG for RM3,250 and it’ll cost me about the same. If I take AirAsia, I’d have enough change left over for a bowl of wanton noodles in HKG before I take the return flight.
Nice work guv …
Im not interested in getting the iphone 3G(S). Do u still have stocks for the iphone 3G 16g??
Hey folks,
Some of you dropped by earlier yesterday (Wed, July 15th) with some helpful ‘news’ about a certain launch. Thanks for the concern, but we were aware of it sometime back already. For obvious reasons, we did not make mention of it in our blog then because it is really none of our business and also because the official launch is within a confidential clause.
Now, there are some of you who wanted to know our take on this, and there are also those who asked us if there is gonna be a price revision. Of course, a handful of you was wondering what our next (exit?) strategy is gonna be.
Firstly, it is a misconception that we are trying to compete with theM. Obviously, we can’t. Instead, we started off in 2007 trying to fill a void, and in 2008, still doing the same. In 2009, we are instead trying to ‘complement’ theM instead.
Secondly, our pricing remains…unchanged. Until July 31st, a major surprise is in stored for the uninitiated.
Finally, let’s play a little game here:
:: QUESTION ::
What would you do if you are in iWorld’s shoes?
:: ANSWER ::
(a) Take a bow, curtain call. (close shop)
(b) Act nonchalant about it. (nothing happens)
(c) Plan B (n/a)
(d) Sleep with the devil (yes, helping theM from now on)
PS: Maybe we should release an official poll on this, winner gets an iPhone 3GS on us! Hmm…

Factory unlocked iPhone 3GS (32GB) is at a promo price of RM3299 only. It comes with everything in the box. Either google for it, or look around our site/blog. It’s there.
The same goes for the color – Black or White variants can be viewed on our blog. We DO NOT send photos to buyers because it is not necessary.
Thank you.

Hello Darshanan,
Thanks for dropping by. We only carry factory unlocked iPhone 3GS, the previous model has been discontinued by Apple.
Discounts would be given for bulk purchase, and we don’t provide any installment schemes.
Our latest promo is the Black Friday Sale happening here: http://www.iworld.com.my/blog/?p=1830
Hi Reno,
I have placed an order and I’m not sure if this is real or just a scam. If it is real, you would be shipping my order latest by tomorrow right? How do I make the payment then? Deposit or full payment?
Hi Roy,
Thank you for dropping by at iWorld.
Did you place your order thru http://www.renoraine.com.my? If you did, I will look into it later & email you the Proforma Invoice for your order confirmation. Simply revert/reply back the email accordingly.
It is full payment prior to despatch via ABX Express (www.abxexpress.com.my). Any orders confirmed by/before 2pm (weekdays) would ship by 4pm (same day). It reaches you the next morning. Tracking details would be sent after despatch.
At anytime – after the receipt of the Proforma Invoice via email – that you don’t feel comfortable about such a transaction, you are free to disregard & cancel the order.
It is a misconception that online scams are everywhere, including from within Malaysia. This is not true as most of it are from overseas, and the tell-tale signs are there. This is not possible in Malaysia without the cops knocking on our door the next day, and the banking institution freezing our account as well. Therefore, if your initial thought in regard to placing an order for the iPhone 3GS from us here at iWorld is of the notion of whether the deal is for ‘real or a scam’, then obviously you have not done enough ‘research’ about us, about iWorld, as well as the countless other folks who have bought an iPhone from us. Since 2007.
I suggest you do a proper google search on us first to alleviate such an unfounded fear. Otherwise, you know you’re not bound to place an order with us in the first place.
Thank you & have a great day ahead.
- Reno / iWorld
I forgot to mention that I’m outstation right now. Will be back on Tuesday (Dec 8th). All confirmed orders would ship Wednesday (Dec 9th) morning. TQ

Hello Shoaib,
Yes, we constantly replenish our stock once the inventory is low. Unless there is a market shortage.
We will email you shortly. Once an order despatches from our office in Johor, Malaysia by 4pm, it reaches you the next morning. In other words, within (less) than 24 hours. TQ

Kensley
hi.. can i know what is the price for 3gs 16gb and 32gb? are both of them available in white color?
Hi Chocoholic,
I’m so sorry but we do not repeat info that are already expressly printed or available on our website. So sorry.
If you are looking for latest prices, it is at the beginning of this post. TQ
Hi Reno,
Some queries here:
1.Do you have stock for Iphone 3gs 16GB black color?
2.Any chance of getting Maxis sets rather than oversees?
3.It mentioned here factory unlocked, so it will be ok working for any telco. What about jailbreak? Is it jailbreak by you guys or already open by factory?
Some queries might have been asked by others or posted by you, but unfortunately I cant find them. Thats why I’m asking here again
TQ
Hi Imran, sent you an email already.
Don’t worry, no queries is too big or small for iWorld. Have a nice day.
- Reno
Hi Reno,
Do you have 16Gb White in stock? Do you accept paypal? If I want to place order, do i need to give an advance booking?
Thanks
Hi Zul, already sent you an email. Thank you.
need to know you got iphone3gs 16 g secondhand unit available?
serious buyer
Hi James,
Thanks for writing in to iWorld.
Unfortunately, we only carry brand new, original iPhone 3GS. Sorry about this. TQ
I am looking for a 16GB 3GS, what is the price now? Can I see the unit first? where is your location? PJ? KL?
I am looking at purchasing about 10 x iPhone 3GS 32GB.
Do you have bulk order discounts in place?
Thanks
Adam
Daniel: If you intend to self collect, you can do so at our office in Skudai, Johor. By appointment basis only.
Adam: Yes, we do provide bulk discount for 10 units. I will revert back to you via email. Thanks Adam for dropping by.
Hi there, i just want to ask, can accept credit card or cash only?
what if i want one that isnt unlocked because i dont really care weather locked or not as long as i can use, do you have cheaper price for locked iphone , discount since not yet unlocked ??
Hi Akay,
Nope, we don’t carry locked iPhone 3GS because it is really pointless! Thanks.
I think you are scammers because we both know that the blackra1n software you use to unlock it is free!! yet you make a big deal as if you have accomplished such a big feat unlocking the phone..i think you are greedy rippers and you ought to reduce cost of your Iphone to 2400RM …stop cheating the ignorant public and making unfair profits!!!
Hi Akay,
LOL! You’re accusing us as scammers just because we don’t have a LOCKED iPhone 3GS to sell to you? Get a life.
Secondly, in case you are not aware, there is a difference between default Apple Factory Unlocked iPhone 3GS and Software Unlocked iPhone 3GS. The latter requires BlackRa1n + Jailbreak. An example would be AT&T sets.
I’m publishing your comment – instead of moderating it – just to let others see how stupid some comments that we receive occasionally on the iWorld blog could be.
One word of advice: If you don’t know what you’re talking about in the first place, just STFU.
Have a great weekend!
I have just researched on this and I admit I made a mistake. Sorry about this. Thanks.
